Michael J. Thom, owner/videographer

Born in California but raised in central Indiana, Michael has been involved with video productions since at least middle school, where he was heavily involved with his school’s daily video announcements, working on both sides of the camera. In high school, Michael continued this trend, working with that school’s morning announcements, staying mostly behind the camera and in the control room. During this same time, Michael signed on with the video production ministry of his church (one of the largest in the area) and gained additional training and experience. Throughout college and since, Michael has worked mostly on personal video projects, including recording and editing the video for his own wedding just recently.

Michael has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education, but audio/video technology has always been an interest, a hobby, a passion of his. It was his desire to return to his true passions, and the creation of Thom Video Productions grew out of this. As a recent groom himself (and one whose wonderful bride allowed him to be heavily involved in the planning process!), Michael understands what brides and brides’ families go through while planning the big day, and it is with this understanding that Michael can be a huge asset to families planning a wedding.

Recently married to his high school sweetheart, Michael resides in Fishers, IN, and attends East 91st Street Christian Church in Castleton, IN. A graduate of Ball State University, Michael is a sports fan: NFL and MLB are his favorite professional sports, with the Indianapolis Colts and the LA Angels of Anaheim by far his two favorite teams.
